Easystep Mix: Volume 2

So I haven't posted on here in a minute, slipping I know. However, I have been productive. Whether it's producing music,  or DJing, I'm still going...

Here's some evidence of that in my latest mix (second volume of Easystep series). In it, I explore more of the multi-styled UK Garage sound. Particularly the sub-genre's of 2step, dubstep, and dark garage. Take a listen & if you like what you hear, download to your library. As always the love is appreciated.

Spotlight on RetailDJ....

Last week, the great people at RetailDJ.com were gracious enough to do a feature on Me, my Music, and my fashion choices. It included a 2-part interview & photoshoot, and in return I made an exclusive mix and remix (both of which you can only listen/download at the site). In our sit-down, topics ranged from my Chicago trip, to my work with the good people from Late Night Left/Down 2 Earth and more. There's plenty of words and other media in the articles so I'll leave you with those links....

Part 1.
Part 2.
Get Ready w/ EZRAKH.
The Mix.
The Remix.

Thats a lot right?? We'll make sure your give each part a good graze, and make sure to listen and/or download both the EXCLUSIVE Mix and Remix, which were made by yours truly. I made them for you!

Love & Blessings

Tomorrow, I will be making a long awaited trip to the "Windy City" otherwise known as Chicago, Illinois. Chicago is known for many things in the musical sense. Mainly as the birthing ground for acts such as Curtis Mayfield & the Impressions; Earth, Wind, & Fire; Herbie Hancock; Miles Davis; R. Kelly; G.O.O.D. Music(Kanye & Common); Lupe Fiasco; and most importantly (IMO) House music.  Given my fondness for House music and its many different forms, this trip is in part a pilgrimage. Most importantly though, I'm going to DJ a very special event put on by a very special friend of mine Drunken Monkeee. I will rocking his annual loft party known as "The Honeycomb Hideout"

It's held in the Center of Chicago at The Elastic Arts Foundation, and will feature performances by several up & coming Chicago artists including Ill Legit and Professor Gorilla Dickens (trip-hop/loungy alias of Drunken Monkeee). As a special gift to all I've compiled a little mixtape of my friend, Drunken Monkeee's tracks. As well for the next week, while I'm gone, I'll be hosting my old "Windy City Mix" on my SoundCloud for stream/download
